For many of us, our cars are our own private bubble.
We’re away from home, work, often family.
I use my car as my own zen bubble. It’s a chance to practice the Feel Better Project process.
Sometimes, I keep the radio off and drive in silence. I notice my breath. I notice the wind in the trees. I feel the road. I really “drive” the car.
And when there’s construction or traffic, I practice acceptance. Instead of getting stressed at the delay, I accept that it’s happening and I can do nothing about it… and I feel better.
So next time you hop in the car, see if you can make it your own zen bubble.
Practice what you’ve been learning in these emails… and let me know what happens!
