Sometimes when I step outside my office there’s the scent of good cooking in the air.
On days when I’m hungry, I’m tempted to use my nose and follow the scent to its source – one of the local restaurants.
On other days, when I’m not hungry, I hardly notice it.
Here’s the thing:
What if we can live our lives as if the scent of good cooking was in the air?
What if we can be open to possibilities and opportunities?
What if we can allow ourselves to be led… and follow that scent?
For this to happen, we get into alignment with our true desires. We feel that things are “right”, that we are going in the correct direction.
Finally, we relax and trust a little. We say: “How about I forget my plans, just for a minute, and see where this scent leads?”
In other words, we let go and float.
This, in a nutshell, is how to live life with greater ease. We step outside the over-thinking mind, get into alignment with our true desires, and then allow ourselves to be led.
