We have good days and we have bad days.
We have days when life flows with ease and we have days that seem like a struggle.
We have days when our momentum is going forward and we have days when we feel like we’re sliding backward.
But here’s the thing:
It’s perfectly normal to have those bad days. We’re human, after all.
The secret is to let them happen.
If you look at a beginner swimmer, they try to struggle against the water. They fight it to stay afloat.
But the experienced swimmer lets the water hold her. She has trust that she will be just fine.
So if you feel like you’re struggling, relax. Put your head back and float.
Accept that you’re feeling bad, be kind to yourself, and reach for something that feels just a little bit better.
Because all struggling does is use up all your energy and leave you a wreck.
