One of the most powerful things in the world is stillness.
If you can be still, you get access to wisdom.
If you can be still, your automatic thinking subsides.
If you can be still, the world seems more friendly.
So that’s why I try to make stillness part of my day.
When walking in nature.
When stopped at a red light.
When I turn off the water in the shower.
All it takes is a few seconds and a couple of breaths.
And to ask yourself: How am I feeling right now? And: What would make me feel just a little bit better?
Stillness has answers once we find a place for it in our lives.
