Today I want to tell you about the thing that has had the greatest impact on my life.
Indeed, it's what got me started on all this stuff in the first place.
Simply, the work is, every night, to write down three things you appreciate about the day.
It doesn't have to be big stuff. Indeed, little stuff is sometimes better.
For example, yesterday I appreciated:
How the sun came out at the end of a stormy day
The leftover chicken tikka masala we ate for dinner
The smell outside after the rain had stopped
I urge you to try this for the next 21 days. I am certain that you will feel a whole lot better, simply by doing this.
I hope you'll join me in this challenge!

You have probably heard how important "gratitude" is. I prefer the word "appreciate" because, to me, gratitude signifies a certain lack ("I am go grateful I have this because there's a chance I could not have it.") If we are to believe that the world is abundant, then it is better to simply appreciate.
